Joe, and the team of car technicians have a busy schedule each day and MOT’s and services are booked in daily. They don’t have to be done together. If you want to spread the cost, we can do the MOT when it’s due and a service at another time. The cost of an MOT for a car or small van is £45.00 and a service depends on what is required but we can always give you a quotation first so that you can budget for it. We tell you what is needed, when and what type of service is required if you don’t already know. Sometimes a full service is needed and often, only an interim service is needed. This depends on how many miles you have done, the type of car and also how you drive it! What’s included in my service?
All services will involve visual checks to your car, like looking for damage to your car’s body or wheels. They also include manual checks to things like your brakes and gearbox to make sure they’re working as they should.
If you have an electric or hybrid car, the checks will include your charging port, cables and connections.
A car service can include:

- Lights, tyres, bodywork and exhausts

- Fluid and coolant levels
