Is your MOT due this month? It is a popular month for these of course due to September and October being the month for new cars being issued historically. ‘New numberplate’ month!
So, Crescent Motors in Burton have become increasingly busy. We don’t mind this of course, but when you receive your reminder for your MOT, do call us to book as soon as you can! If you do not know when your MOT is due, check here to find out. We normally send text message reminders out to existing customers the month before it is due therefore it gives you plenty of time to book it in. Please give us some notice if you can as we are currently booking one week in advance. Don’t leave it until the last minute in case we can’t fit it in straight away. 😉
Many people believe that there is a two-week grace period for lapsed MOTs – which can allow drivers a leeway period to get their vehicle booked in for their MOT test. Unfortunately, despite popular belief, the ‘MOT grace period’ is actually a myth. 😬
Driving your vehicle on the road without a valid MOT could invalidate your insurance if you were to have an accident. So, DON’T FORGET!
