How can I tell if my car has a suspension problem? Who has seen potholes in Burton recently? Do you avoid them? Do you know where they are?!

How can I tell if my car has a suspension problem?

To someone who drives a car daily, the suspension is something we don’t have any control over. It can be tricky to spot vehicle suspension problems, however there are some things you can watch out for:

  • If your suspension looks lower on one corner.
  • If you are hearing any knocking or banging noises going over uneven ground, there could be a suspension component worn.
  • Poor wheel alignment: You might not think about your wheels when there may be a problem with your suspension.
  • Shock absorbers: They really should be called “dampers,” and when they wear out, you should notice more bouncing.
  • Struts: If your vehicle’s suspension has struts rather than shock absorbers, a knocking sound will appear.

If you suspect you have a problem, let Crescent Motors know. We can check it for you.
