Crescent Motors Supports Homelessness Awareness – Last Friday evening, Crescent Motors was proud to be represented by Steve Tallett and Sarah Beggan, who volunteered at the annual YMCA Sleepout event held at Burton Albion Football Club. The sleepout brings together people across the community for one purpose: raising funds and awareness to support those experiencing homelessness.

Why the YMCA Sleepout Matters
Homelessness is a pressing issue, and events like the YMCA Sleepout bring attention to the challenges faced by those without a permanent home. Participants spent the night outside to better understand the conditions that many homeless individuals endure daily. The event not only raises essential funds but also builds empathy and awareness within the community, helping bring the issue closer to home.
Crescent Motors’ Commitment to the Cause
Supporting homelessness charities isn’t new to Crescent Motors; it’s something we’ve been dedicated to for years. Steve Tallett, one of our own, plays an active role in the OutReach Team, working early mornings to check on the well-being of individuals sleeping rough. His commitment involves providing support, safety advice, and essential resources to those in need – a testament to the care Crescent Motors holds for the community. This year Crescent Motoring Services also sponsored a cardboard box, one of the boxes the participants slept in.
